How long does a pest control treatment take?

Most standard residential treatments take between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours depending on the size of your home. Larger properties or treatments that include roof void and subfloor access may take a little longer. We'll give you a time estimate when you book.

Is the treatment safe for my kids and pets?

Yes. We use industry-approved products that are safe for children and pets once dry — typically 1–2 hours after treatment. We'll let you know exactly what to expect before we start, including any preparation required on your end.

How long will the treatment last?

Our general pest treatments come with a 6-month service warranty. For most homes, a single annual treatment is sufficient to keep common pests like spiders, cockroaches, ants, and silverfish under control.

Do I need to be home during the treatment?

For internal treatment, yes — someone needs to be home to provide access. If you only need an external perimeter spray, we can often arrange that without you being present. Just let us know when you book.

Do I need to prepare my home before the treatment?

A little preparation goes a long way in making your treatment as effective as possible. Before we arrive, please:

• Kitchen and food areas — store food items in cupboards or sealed containers, and remove pet food and water bowls from the floor
• Skirting boards and edges — clear as much as possible away from walls, skirting boards, and floor edges (shoes, boxes, bags, kids' toys) so we can spray along the full perimeter without obstruction
• Under beds and furniture — if internal treatment is included, pulling larger items slightly away from walls helps us access those corners properly
• Roof void or subfloor access — if your treatment includes these areas, make sure the manhole or access point is clear and reachable

The more access we have to edges, corners, and entry points, the better the result. Don't stress about getting everything perfect — just do what you can. We'll let you know if anything specific is needed when we confirm your booking.
